Great campsites bath house could use more frequent cleanings
Good sites with mix of shade and sun. Lots of twigs around to help get your fire started. There are a few playgrounds, but the equipment is basic slide, swings, and a few bars. Entertain children with hikes, helping build a fire and other camping tasks, or bring some balls and Frisbee to run around. No sandy beach area that I could find, but appear to be lots of people fishing from boats. Clean bathrooms, electric hookups, flat grassy ground cover, metal picnic tables, plenty of space between sites. Some loud critters at night, but no obvious sign of coons or other large wildlife to worry about.
Stayed here for the weekend in our RV. We were a walk-in so we ended up with the last spit available in the park. It was electric hookup only but there was a water station nearby our site. The asphalt pad wasn't very level and in turn our RV want level, and it was a little tight for us to fit in. We couldn't really back up to fit our boat and truck on the pad but there was plenty of overflow parking. Showers were okay. Would for sure come back but make a reservation and get a better spot to fit our 42 foot rv and have both electric and h20 hookups.
Excellent camp ground. Clean bathrooms big camp sites! Boat ramp was clean and free of debris.
Great camping and views as well as fishing. I suggest making online reservation. Especially if you want full hook ups for RV.
